Canada's Second Largest Automotive Manufacturer to Create 24 Jobs in Selma

Johnston County, N.C. - February 5, 2019. Municipal and county leaders have approved incentive offers that pave the way for Linamar Seissenschmidt Forgings Group to assume operations in an existing building at Selma's Oak Tree Industrial Park. The company is part of a Linamar Corporation, Canada's second largest manufacturer of automotive components. It will invest $3 million and create 24 jobs at the Selma location, which sits in convenient proximity to its Linamar Forgings Carolina's growing facility in Wilson

The Johnston County Airport Authority Board announced a partnership with Blue Line Aviation LLC for the development of the Blue Line Aviation Complex at Johnston Regional Airport (JNX). This $13 million project will include a state-of-the-art hangar and premier flight school for both private and commercial aviation.
